SharePoint search results were not correct or would be missing some data. After hours of digging around, I noticed that one Search Scope was empty. To try and fix this, I went as far as reseting the search index, yes, clearing out all the search data. No fun!
Here is what I found to work.
List Settings
Allow items from this list to appear in search results?
Change this to NO
Run a crawl on the Content Source.
Go back to List Settings.
Allow items from this list to appear in search results?
Change this to YES
Run a crawl on the Content Source.
My Search Scope filled up.
Search was working again!
Crawling is working Fine but list data is not showing after search,I addaed search box webpart.Any help…

Have you checked to see if the url is in the crawl log?

What we have to give in Search Box Properties option like (Advanced search page url and Target search result page url) in advanced page url m giving the url where I added the search box webpart and in target search page url m giving the list url but it gives me the full list item now I want to show only the particular item.Any help..!!
